FAQ
1. Can I use the same student account for multiple students?
No, you should create a separate student account for each student. Remember that you also cannot use the same email to register multiple accounts.
2. Can I use hours I spend tutoring at Bobtutor for volunteering awards?
Currently, Bobtutor we are working on getting Bobtutor approved by many volunteering awards. After we are approved, you will be able to use the hours you spend tutoring at Bobtutor for those awards, so start tracking you hours now!
3. Why can I not log into my tutor account?
Your account might not be approved by us yet. If you aren’t approved in 3 days, you should check your inbox to see if you have received any email from our team that includes why you haven’t been approved.
4. Why can I not see Bobtutor messages in my Gmail inbox?
Messages from Bobtutor might be automatically put into the Promotions inbox by Gmail. You can resolve this issue by dragging the email from Bobtutor from Promotions to your Primary inbox and selecting the option to move all future conversations with Bobtutor to your Primary inbox.
5. How can I respond to Bobtutor messages?
To respond to Bobtutor messages, you need to log in to your account on Bobtutor, click into the message list in your profile, and click the Respond button at the top right corner of messages that other people sent you. Responding to the email directly will not work.
6. Why am I unable to create an account with my profile picture?
We only support png, jpg, and jpeg file extensions. Your file name should also not contain any dots except for file extension. For example: "profile.png" is ok, while "my.profile.png" is not. Your file size should be less than 2 MB.
7. Why does clicking the Register button not do anything?
The website might be experiencing high traffic, please try again at a later time.
